On 23 February in lieu of our Dinner Meeting our Club had a Mystery Bus Trip. This is something we do every February. On this occasion we went to a Vineyard Restaurant called Vin Alto near Auckland. On the way a compulsory stop for finger food, bubbly etc. Vin Alto is an excellent venue with views of Auckland and the surrounding sea / islands landscape. On arrival we were presented with pre-dinner drink which was followed with a 5 course meal and matching wines for each course. 48 members and partners made the trip and I am sure the Vineyard was delighted with the volume of wine purchased. 2011 - Plans are now under way for a weekend in the Hawkes Bay Wine District.
