The Manila Beefsteak and Burgundy Club held their Charter Dinner on Friday 13 March, 2009. The dinner was held at the Residence of HE Rod Smith, the Australian Ambassador to the Philippines. The Club President, Robert Jenkins, reported that members enjoyed a great occassion and dinner with Australian wines. Included on the menu was Australian rib eye and 2001 Penfolds St Henri Shiraz, fitting for such an occassion.
