Craig Thornquest has been appointed the General Secretary of Beefsteak and Burgundy Inc. This follows the retirement of John Macklin who has held the position for the last four years.
Craig has had a long and continuing involvement with Beefsteak and Burgundy. Craig joined the Macadamia Club in Brisbane in the mid 1980's. As a result of relocating to Adelaide in 1992, Craig joined the Adelaide Club. He joined the committee in 1994 and in 1995 was appointed Honorary Secretary, a position he held until 2003 when he was elected International President for two years. Craig was also involved in the Organising Committee for the 2004 Golden Jubilee Convention held in Adelaide.
In 2005 it was decided to split the role of Honorary Secretary of the Adelaide Club and as a result Craig was appointed as the Treasurer, a position which he has held until now.
Craig looks forward to dealing with the branch clubs and secretaries and to ensure their needs are met.
