The Manila Club was founded in March of 2007 and Chartered in April 2008. The Club meets every month in a different fine dining establishment to enjoy food and wine from Australia and New Zealand. At each lunch the members are asked to evaluate the food, wine service and ambiance of the venue. At the end of each calendar year the results are compiled and the award made, with the 2009 winner being Aubergine Restaurant and Patisserie.
