Welcome to the Adelaide Beefsteak and Burgundy Club web site
The Adelaide Beefsteak and Burgundy Club is the social part of the original founding club of Beefsteak and Burgundy which was established in 1954. It was established by eight founding members, known as the First Eight. Very soon after the first club was formed, further clubs were established, initially in Adelaide and soon after in other Australian states and then overseas.

The Adelaide Beefsteak and Burgundy Club meets for dinner on the second Monday of the month unless it coincides with a public holiday. Dinners are held at a range of restaurants and clubs, generally in or close to the Adelaide CBD.
Dress codes range from black tie to informal, depending on the occasion.
Members of other Beefsteak and Burgundy clubs are welcome to attend. Please see the Handbook for details or click here to contact the Secretary.
